As a champion of human rights and social justice, Vic Alhadeff has dedicated his career to advancing equality - starting in South Africa during Apartheid, for LGBTQI, and for Jewish communities around the world.

In this insightful and passionate episode, Vic describes how his personal history shaped him - from his family's history in Rhodes that ended in tragedy with 151 family members deported and murdered in Auschwitz. Their plight influenced and shaped Vic significantly, causing him to dedicate his life to human rights advocacy.

Vic has many notable achievements, including pioneering a law Section 93Z of the NSW Crimes Act, a role as CEO of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies, and fostering unity as Chair of Multicultural NSW. He has received two notable awards - NSW Premier's Award and recently an Order of Australia Medal.
